TRANSPORTATION OF CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF PASSENGERS
Passenger with reduced mobility – “PRM”
In order to make your summer trip comfortable, please do the following in advance:
- consult with your attending physician;
- at the time of booking, you should inform the tour operator, if you will use a wheelchair;
- if you use your own wheelchair, you should inform the airline about the following characteristics: type of battery, dimensions, etc.
WARNING! Passengers' own wheelchairs, regardless of their type, weight and size, are transported exclusively in the cargo compartment of the aircraft.
If you are a passenger with reduced mobility or a passenger with a disability and need additional assistance from service personnel during air travel or ground handling, you must notify SKYLINE EXPRESS Airlines about this. A request about the need for assistance for patients with limited physical capabilities must be sent no later than 48 hours before the departure of the flight.
If the event that led to the loss of mobility occurred less than 24 hours before departure, the question regarding the possibility of transportation is resolved promptly by phone numbers posted on the airline's website.
To determine the type of special service required during air transportation, some categories of passengers with limited mobility or a passenger with a disability should do a preliminary medical examination by a doctor and receive a medical opinion/certificate (certificate) from a health care institution that the passenger is not contraindicated for air transportation transport, and in some cases, that the passenger's illness does not pose a threat to others. The medical report (certificate) must be valid on the date of departure.
Such categories of passengers include:
- who have such a physical or mental health condition that is dangerous for themselves or can pose a threat or discomfort for other passengers and crew members;
- who are sick with infectious diseases that can be contagious to other passengers, crew members and service personnel;
- who needs medical assistance, supplemental oxygen or the use of any medical equipment during the flight
WARNING! "SKYLINE EXPRESS" Airline, unfortunately, is unable to provide services for transporting patients on stretchers.
No later than 72 hours before the start of the flight, the Airline must be provided with a medical report/certificate (certificate) signed by a doctor, which contains permission for the passenger to be transported by air transport, as well as specified special requirements for the conditions of transportation
The medical certificate confirms the ability of the sick passenger to make the flight without danger to his health and that there is no need to provide special medical assistance during the flight.
The medical report/certificate (certificate) should be valid on the flight departure date.
If in the period between the issuance of the medical report/certificate and the actual departure of the flight, there is a serious deterioration of the medical condition, a new medical report/certificate on the suitability of the state of health for the possibility of air transportation must be obtained.
Please note that the Airline can unilaterally terminate the passenger's air transportation contract if the passenger's state of health requires special conditions of air transportation, or threatens the safety of the passenger himself or other persons, which is confirmed by medical documents.
Passengers with a satisfactory state of health do not need to issue a medical report/certificate (certificate) for air travel, who need assistance from service personnel only for moving around the airport and during boarding and disembarking.
Such passengers can be:
- passengers who have a stable disability (since birth or over the years),
- passengers with sensory impairments (blind, deaf, mute),
- elderly passengers,
- pregnant women whose pregnancy period does not exceed 35 weeks (up to 32 weeks in case of multiple pregnancy),
- passengers who need transportation in wheelchairs, and others.
Blind and deaf passengers accompanied by a guide dog are placed in places where there is plenty of space for the dog, not far from the emergency exit. A guide dog is transported free of charge.

Transportation of Pregnant Women and Women in Childbirth
Before traveling, be sure to consult a doctor about possible contraindications, get his recommendations for the upcoming trip. Air travel can have negative consequences that threaten the life of the mother. Therefore, in order to take care of your health and the health of your children, the Airline accepts pregnant women for flight on the condition that they provide a medical opinion (certificate) that there are no contraindications to air transportation on the date of the flight.
In accordance with the Rules of Air Transportation of Passengers and Baggage, approved by the order of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine dated November 26, 2018 No. 1239, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on February 8, 2019 under No. 141/33112 with changes and additions introduced by the order of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine dated August 14, 2020 No. 1126
- pregnant women with a gestation period of more than 35 weeks (with a singleton pregnancy),
- pregnant women with a gestation period of more than 32 weeks (with multiple pregnancies),
- women in childbirth within 7 days after delivery and childbirth
- newborns within 7 days after delivery
- premature born
A medical examination and a medical report (certificate) are not required for pregnant women up to 35 weeks of pregnancy inclusive (in the case of multiple pregnancies – up to 32 weeks), provided they are in satisfactory health.
If there is any doubt about the period of pregnancy or the expected delivery and/or if the pregnancy is complicated, such a pregnant woman should has a medical examination and provide a medical opinion (certificate) to the "SKYLINE EXPRESS Airlines".
In any case, a certificate from a doctor regarding the period of pregnancy is required after the 28th week (based on the expected date of delivery). The certificate must be issued no later than five days before the date of departure, stating that there are no contraindications to air transportation on the date of the flight.
There is no possibility to provide specialized medical assistance on board the plane, so we ask you to understand the Airline's requirements, which are solely related to ensuring your own safety.
The airline has the right to refuse a pregnant woman, if this is regulated by the requirements of the immigration legislation of the country of destination
Refusal to transportation
"SKYLINE EXPRESS Airlines" transportation may be refused if :
- the passenger has an infectious disease;
- due to his state of health, the passenger may create discomfort for other passengers (appearance, smell, etc.);
- the passenger's physical or mental condition may pose a threat to the safety of other passengers, their property, the aircraft or the crew;
- the passenger needs individual care during the flight, and the accompanying person is absent or unable to provide such care;
- the passenger's state of health at the time of check-in is such that air transportation may cause complications or even death;
- a pregnant woman is expected to give birth within the next 7 days;
Transportation of Children
The airline is always happy to see our little passengers on board our aircraft . For a comfortable flight of passengers with children, you can take the necessary things and items for the care of the child, as well as food necessary for the flight, on board our aircraft. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the list of items allowed for transportation as hand luggage.
Children on air transport are infants (INF) up to 2 years old and children (CHD) agd 2 to 12 years.
INF shall be transported without allocation of a separate seat at special fares established by the Airline
Families with young passengers have the right to priority check-in and boarding.

When buying a ticket for a child from 2 to 12 years old (under 12 years old), the corresponding child fare is paid and a regular passenger ticket is issued. Such children occupy a separate passenger seat.
Infants
Children up to 2 years old (under 2 years old) can travel sitting on your lap. Each adult passenger сan to transport only one infant without a separate seat. At the same time, one adult passenger is allowed to carry no more than two infants with him - one without providing a separate seat, and the second in a separate seat, with payment for such transportation at the rate established by the airline for the transportation of children aged 2 to 12 years. An infant (child up to 2 years old), for whom a separate seat has been paid, must be transported in a car seat (car seat) for the transportation of children. The child's car seat must be in good condition and have straps to secure the child.
The dimensions of the seat of the car seat in economy class of service should not exceed 38x38 cm (15x15 inches), in business class - 42x42 cm (16.5x16.5 inches).
In order to maintain safety during the flight, seats are not provided in the following areas when using a car seat in the aircraft cabin:
seats in the aircraft cabin in the aisle;
- rows of emergency exits;
- any seat one row ahead or one row back from the emergency exit row;
- car seats with a partition (if the car seat is a combined car seat and stroller);
WARNING! The child car seat must be certified for use in air transport, which must be confirmed by the appropriate label
if there is no car seat and the specified conditions are not met, the airline has the right to refuse to transport the infant in a separate seat.
Please make sure you have a car seat. "SKYLINE EXPRESS" airline does not provide this service.
When transporting a child up to 2 years of age without providing a seat in the cabin per child, the norm of free baggage allowance is up to 10 kg.
Baby cradles and strollers
The Airline does not provide baby cradles for transporting babies on all its flights.
If you are traveling with your own cradle, remember that it is not allowed to be used during the flight. You can use it only before boarding and after leaving the plane. In the passenger compartment, it must be placed on the luggage shelf.
Passengers traveling with a child under 2 years сan take to carry one baby stroller/stroller of any type for free in addition to the free baggage allowance.
If you are using a baby stroller, which in terms of weight and dimensions when folded does not exceed the standard limits for hand luggage in the corresponding class of service (the weight of hand luggage for passengers of all classes of service is 7 kg and the maximum dimensions are 55x40x20 cm), such a baby stroller can be transported instead of one place of hand luggage in the passenger compartment of the aircraft and placed during the flight on the luggage shelf.
WARNING! The use of a baby stroller is possible only up to the plane ramp, then the stroller is handed over for transportation in the baggage compartment. Before putting the stroller in the luggage compartment, make sure in advance that it does not get dirty or torn anywhere, fold it as carefully as possible and pack it in cellophane or a special cover. Upon arrival at the airport of destination, please contact the flight attendant to collect your stroller after exiting the aircraft.
Otherwise, in the case of transporting a child older than 2 years, a baby carriage/stroller will be charged as excess baggage if its weight exceeds the free baggage allowance specified in the small passenger's ticket.
Unaccompanied children
Children aged 5 to 16 can travel on our airline's international flights without accompanying adult passengers, provided that a special escort service has been arranged.
Children traveling unaccompanied are accepted for flight after the parents or guardians fill out an application for the carriage of an unaccompanied child (children) and a notarized permission of both parents (guardians) for the carriage of an unaccompanied child and pay for the service. On international flights to other countries, in addition to the cost of an adult ticket, it is necessary to pay 80 USD for an escort service (the price is for a one-way trip). This service is provided along the entire tracking route - at departure, transit and arrival airports.
Unaccompanied children are allowed to be transported if there is a pre-booking with the status "OK" and with the consent of the airline. The request for such transportation must be sent and confirmed by the airline at least 4 days before departure. When booking, a direct route is selected, if possible, the flight should be made during the day.
When ordering an escort service, you should provide passport data (the child's travel document) and the child's nationality.
Registration of escort service is mandatory.
To register this service at the airport of departure, before starting check-in, you need to fill out a special accompanying form, which will be provided to you by the airline representative. Next, an employee of our airline will take your child on board, where our flight attendants will take care of him throughout the flight.
Please do not leave the airport until your flight departs!
After the flight arrives at the destination airport, our ground staff will accompany your child during all arrival procedures until handing over to the meeting persons. The airline transfers the child only to the person indicated in the accompanying information. The meeting person specified in the application must have an identity document with him. If for some reason this person does not meet your child, the airline will be forced to send the child back to the departure airport. All related costs will have to be paid by the child's parents (guardians).
